Jeff Crollard has been the attorney for the Washington State Long-Term Care Ombudsman Program since 1990. The ombudsman program is a federally mandated group of trained individuals—about 450 in Washington—who advocate on behalf of people living in nursing homes, boarding homes, assisted living facilities, veteran’s homes, and adult family homes. Mr. Crollard also represents people who have been abused, neglected or exploited.
Jeff Crollard is a frequent trainer of other advocates, care providers, residents, family members, attorneys, and state investigators. He is chair elect of the elder law section of the state bar association, is a member of numerous state task forces, and participates in state policy, regulatory and legislative issues concerning residents and long-term care facilities. Mr. Crollard is a fourth generation Washingtonian, a 1979 graduate of the University of Washington and in 1985 received a law degree and masters degree in public policy from the University of California, Berkeley.
