About Us
Thank you for visiting the website of the Northwest Washington Estate Planning Council (NWEPC). NWEPC is an association of estate planners in northwest Washington, formed in 1966 to provide educational and networking opportunities to its members. The group has been very active over its many years of existence, and currently provides opportunities on a regular basis to its members to meet, earn continuing education credit, and market services.
Members of the group are professional practitioners offering a variety of estate planning services in Whatcom, Skagit, San Juan and Island Counties.
The members gather for membership meetings five times each year, generally on the third Wednesdays of September, November, January, March, and May, for dinner at the historic Chuckanut Manor on the south end of beautiful Chuckanut Drive, running from Bellingham to Mount Vernon along the edge of Puget Sound. The membership meetings also include a speaker on current topics of interest to estate planning professionals, with attendance at the meeting in most all instances qualifying for continuing education credit.
Membership dues include the cost of the dinners provided at the five yearly membership meetings. We hope you will use our website as a resource for contacting top estate planning professionals in northwestern Washington. We congratulate you on your interest in estate planning, an essential topic for all persons interested in planning for the growth, protection and distribution of their estate, both during lifetime and on death.
